Ask the community for the apartment’s floor plan with measurements. Then pick furniture for that space, not the house it’s coming from.

- A TV stand, a bookshelf, and the photos they love most

- The dining room set
- A china cabinet or large hutch

Questions to ask the move-in coordinator
Every Tampa community runs move-ins a little differently. A five-minute call with the move-in coordinator saves a lot of trouble on the day:
- What time slots are allowed, and which entrance and elevator should movers use?
- Do they need a certificate of insurance from the movers?
- Are any items not allowed, like certain appliances, space heaters or extension cords?
- Will maintenance hang pictures and mount the TV, or should we?

Pack a first-day bag that rides with your parent, not the truck
Medications and the pill organizer, glasses, hearing aids and their chargers, phone and charger, ID and insurance cards, a change of clothes, and a few familiar comfort items. Everything else can arrive with the crew.

Can you set up the apartment so it’s ready when my parent arrives?

We just got a discharge date from rehab. Can you move quickly?
Often, yes. Discharges tend to come with little notice. Call as soon as you have the date and we’ll find a crew.
Is this the same as your white glove service?
