Workbenches, shelving, old paint and yard tools. Paint, gas cans and chemicals can’t go on the truck, so set those aside for county drop-off.
Solid wood furniture
China cabinets, armoires and bedroom sets from the ’80s are heavier than anything sold today. Breakfronts come apart into top and base, and the glass is wrapped separately.
How it’s billed
Local moves are billed hourly for the crew plus one flat truck fee. Wrapping, pads and taking furniture apart are included. We’ll estimate the total before you book. The more that’s sorted and marked ahead of time, the closer the final bill comes in at the low end.
Our senior moving service goes slower and includes setting up the new place, which helps if you’re moving into an apartment or assisted living.

Do you haul away things we’re not keeping?
Yes. We can haul off furniture and boxes you’re not keeping on the same day, or drop them at a donation center you’ve arranged. Mention it when you book so it’s in the estimate.
Can you get boxes out of the attic?
Yes. Attic boxes take longer, so let us know about them so they’re in the estimate.
Will you pack the house for us?
Yes. We can pack all of it or just the kitchen and china, and label every box by room.
