Same-Day and Emergency Movers in Tampa
If you have to be out today or tomorrow, call us. The phone is answered 24 hours a day, and on most days we can get a crew to a Tampa address the same day. You pay the same hourly rate we’d charge with two weeks’ notice.
The rushed moves we see most in Tampa
The other company didn’t show
A booked mover cancels the night before, or just never arrives. Tell us what’s packed and what isn’t, and we’ll send a crew sized for what’s left.
A lease ends at the end of the month
Around USF and in the apartment complexes off Fowler and Fletcher, a lot of leases end on the same day. Units have to be empty before the next tenant’s keys are cut, so those days fill up first.
A closing or move-in date changed
A buyer wants possession early, or the new place isn’t ready and your things need to go into storage for a few days. We can split the move: storage now, delivery later.

Five things that get a crew to you faster
- Both addresses, with the floor and whether there’s an elevator or stairs at each one.
- A rough list of the big pieces: beds, sofas, dressers, a washer and dryer, anything over 200 pounds.
- How much is still unpacked. Loose kitchens and closets change the crew size more than furniture does.
- Building rules. Downtown, Channel District and Westshore towers usually need the freight elevator booked and a certificate of insurance on file. We can email the certificate the same day.
- Photos, if you can send them. A few pictures of each room let us estimate without a walkthrough.
What a same-day move costs
Local moves are billed by the hour for the crew, plus one flat fee for the truck. Moving blankets, shrink wrap and taking beds apart are included. A same-day, weekend or holiday move is charged the same rate as any other day.
Before you book, we give you an estimate of the total based on what you told us. If the job turns out bigger than described, for example a garage that wasn’t mentioned, we tell you before the extra work starts, not on the final bill.
Included on short notice
- A master mover leading the crew, same as a scheduled job
- Pads and shrink wrap on every piece of furniture
- Beds and tables taken apart and put back together
- Storage-unit drop-off if the new place isn’t ready
- $1M general liability coverage and a $50,000 bond
Same-day moving questions
How fast can a crew get to me?
It depends on the day. Weekday mornings are usually the easiest to fill. The last two days of the month are the hardest. When you call we’ll tell you plainly whether we can come today, and if not, the earliest time we can.
Do you charge more for a last-minute move?
No. Same-day, weekend and holiday moves are billed at the same hourly rate and truck fee as a move booked weeks ahead.
Can you pack for me if nothing is in boxes yet?
Yes. We bring boxes and paper and send extra people to pack. Tell us when you call so the crew is the right size.
My building needs a certificate of insurance. Can you get it today?
Yes. Give us the building manager’s email and the exact name they want on the certificate and we’ll send it the same day.
Can you move my things into storage until my new place is ready?
Yes. We can load into a storage unit or portable container now and deliver to your new address later.
