Long-Distance Movers in Wesley Chapel
Big van lines often quote long-distance moves with a delivery window of a week or more, because your furniture shares a truck with other families’ moves. Within Florida, you don’t have to accept that. Your things go on one truck, with one crew, straight to the new house.
Shared load versus your own truck
| Shared (consolidated) load | Your own truck | |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery | A window of several days to a few weeks | A set day, usually the same day or the next morning |
| Handling | Can be moved between trucks or warehouses on the way | Loaded once, unloaded once |
| Crew | Different people may load and unload | The same crew at both ends |
| Living out of a suitcase | Possibly for a week or more | A night at most |
What delivery looks like from Wesley Chapel
Orlando, Lakeland, Sarasota, the Space Coast: usually loaded in the morning and unloaded the same afternoon or evening.
Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Naples, Jacksonville, Tallahassee: loaded during the day, then either unloaded that night or first thing the next morning, depending on the size of the home and when your new place is available.
The far western Panhandle: a long drive, so we plan delivery for the following day and agree on the time in advance.
These are all within Florida. We aren’t taking out-of-state moves right now.
Wesley Chapel long-distance questions
Is a dedicated truck more expensive?
Not necessarily within Florida. Your guaranteed price already includes the truck, the crew and the drive, and there’s no extra charge for a fixed delivery day.
What if we can’t get into the new house until the next day?
We can hold your things on the truck overnight and deliver in the morning. Let us know in advance so it’s planned for.
Do you also unload at a storage unit in the new city?
Yes. Storage at the destination is common when a closing date is still being worked out.
Can you pack before the long move?
Yes. Packing is usually done the day before so loading starts early on move day. See packing services.
