Moving in Wiregrass Ranch
Wiregrass Ranch is the master-planned community around The Shops at Wiregrass, off SR 56 and Bruce B. Downs. It’s split into gated villages, including Estancia at Wiregrass with its own sub-neighborhoods, Persimmon Park and the original Wiregrass Ranch sections. There’s also a dense cluster of newer apartments and townhomes along Wiregrass Ranch Blvd near the mall, the hospital and the sports campus.
SR 56 around the mall backs up on weekday afternoons and weekends, so we like a morning start here.
Village by village
- Estancia. Gated, with HOA rules about trucks. We confirm gate access the day before and follow the rules, so you don’t get a letter.
- Persimmon Park. Many homes are alley-loaded, with the garage in back. We load from the rear garage instead of the street, which is usually faster anyway.
- Apartments near The Shops. Three- and four-story buildings, some with elevators and some without. Tell us which when you ask for an estimate so we send the right crew size.
- New construction. Fresh floors and paint. Runners and door-jamb pads go down before the first box comes in.
