Packing Services in Tampa
You don’t have to hand over the whole house. Most of our Tampa packing jobs are partial: the kitchen, the breakables, or whatever is left the night before. Pick the level that fits your time and budget, and we’ll quote exactly that.
Three ways to use a packing crew
Kitchen only
The kitchen is the slowest room in the house to pack and the one where things break. Dishes, glassware, pantry and small appliances, done in a few hours.
You pack bedrooms, closets and books yourself, which are fast and hard to break.
Fragile and finish-up
Kitchen plus framed art, lamps, TVs, mirrors and décor, and whatever is still loose the evening before the move.
Good if you’ve started packing and won’t finish.
Full pack
Every room, every closet. Usually done the day before the truck so move day stays on schedule. Most people set aside the things they’d rather pack themselves first.
Pair it with white glove unpacking if you want both ends handled.

Packing around a Tampa building’s rules
If you’re moving out of a downtown, Channelside or Westshore building, the freight elevator is usually booked in a fixed window. Packing on move day eats into that window, so for condos and apartments we pack the day before and use the elevator slot only for loading.
For South Tampa and Seminole Heights houses with no elevator to worry about, same-day packing works fine for smaller homes. Larger homes still go better split over two days.
What we bring
Boxes in the right sizes, packing paper, tape, and wardrobe boxes so clothes go straight from the closet rod to a hanging bar. Every box is labeled with the room it’s going to at the new place.
Things we can’t pack or put on the truck
These are hazardous to haul, or won’t survive a closed truck in Tampa heat. Use them up, give them away, or take them in your car.
- Propane tanks, gas cans, lighter fluid
- Aerosol cans, paint thinner, spray paint
- Ammunition and fireworks
- Bleach, drain cleaner and ammonia
- Open liquids and cleaning products
- Perishable or frozen food
- Houseplants (your car is a better ride)
- Candles, which melt in a hot truck
Also keep with you: medications, passports, checkbooks, jewelry, laptops, and a bag with a few days of clothes and chargers.
Tampa packing questions
How long does it take your crew to pack?
A one-bedroom apartment usually takes a crew a few hours. A three- or four-bedroom house is often a full day. The kitchen takes the longest no matter the size of the home.
Can I pack some boxes and have you do the rest?
Yes, and it’s the easiest way to save money. Pack bedrooms, books and clothes yourself, and leave the kitchen and fragile items to us. Tell us what will already be done when you ask for a quote.
I don’t want strangers packing personal items. What do I do?
Pack those yourself first and tape the boxes shut, or put them in one closet and tell the crew it’s off-limits. That’s a normal request.
Will you pack clothes in garbage bags?
No. Bags tear and crush. Folded clothes go in boxes, and hanging clothes go in wardrobe boxes.
