Movers in Odessa
Odessa sits on both sides of the county line. South of SR 54 you’ll find older lake homes on big lots off Gunn Highway. North of it are newer master-planned communities like Starkey Ranch. We move both, and the plan for each one is different.
Moving a house on the water
Odessa’s lakefront homes come with a second household outside: patio sets, kayaks and paddleboards, dock boxes, grills and outdoor TVs. Patio furniture is bulky but light, so it goes on the truck last and comes off first. That way the new porch is set up while the inside is still being unloaded.
Back yards often slope down to the water, so carrying from the dock to the truck can be a long uphill walk. Let us know about it so we bring an extra person.

Move-in rules
Newer HOAs often have rules about truck parking and move times. Check your welcome packet, or send us the page and we’ll plan around it.
New floors
A builder’s new LVP and fresh paint scratch easily. Runners go down from the front door to every room we use, and corners get padded.
Moving from elsewhere
A lot of people moving into these communities come from Westchase, Carrollwood or Tampa apartments. One crew loads and unloads, so the same people who packed the truck put your things in the new house.
Included on every Odessa move
- A master mover leading the crew
- Floor runners and door-frame padding
- Pads and shrink wrap on all furniture
- Beds, tables and outdoor sets taken apart and rebuilt
- $1M general liability coverage and a $50,000 bond
Billed hourly, estimated up front
Local moves are billed hourly for the crew plus one flat truck fee. We’ll give you an estimated total before you book. If there’s a lot to move outside, mention it, because patio and dock items can add an hour.
Odessa moving questions
Do you serve both the Pasco and Hillsborough sides of Odessa?
Yes. We move homes on both sides of SR 54, including Starkey Ranch and the lake neighborhoods off Gunn Highway.
Will you move kayaks, paddleboards and patio furniture?
Yes. They get padded and loaded with everything else. Boats on trailers and boat lifts are not something we move.
Can you protect new floors in a just-built home?
Yes. We put runners down from the front door to every room we’re using and pad the door frames before we start carrying.
Do you move gun safes in Odessa?
Yes. Tell us the size or model so we bring the right equipment and enough people.
