Commercial Movers in Tampa for Retail, Restaurants and Warehouses
Moving a store, a restaurant or a small warehouse isn’t like moving an office. There’s inventory to count, fixtures to take down, and equipment that only a licensed tech should disconnect. The first job is getting clear on who handles what, so nothing sits half-moved while the doors are closed.
Splitting the job between us and your vendors
| Business | We move | Your vendor or tech handles |
|---|---|---|
| Retail store | Boxed inventory, display tables, shelving units, back-room stock, furniture | Point-of-sale and security systems, built-in fixtures bolted to walls or floors |
| Restaurant | Tables, chairs, smallwares, dry storage, boxed kitchen items, disconnected appliances | Gas line and hood disconnects, walk-in coolers, ice machine water lines |
| Small warehouse | Boxed and palletized stock, shelving, workbenches, office furniture | Pallet racking teardown and install, forklifts |
| Medical or dental | Waiting room, offices, sealed records boxes, exam room furniture | Imaging, chairs with plumbing, lab and specialized equipment |

Moving around business hours
Most commercial moves we do in Tampa happen after close or over a weekend. A store closes Saturday night and opens Monday morning in the new space. A restaurant moves on its slowest day.
For storefronts in Ybor, downtown and South Tampa, parking and loading are the hard part. Ask the landlord where trucks can load and whether the building needs a certificate of insurance, and we’ll handle the paperwork.
Inventory moves best when it’s counted and boxed by section before we arrive, with each box labeled with the department or aisle it belongs in at the new store.

Tampa commercial moving questions
Can you move us overnight or on a weekend?
Yes. Most commercial moves happen after hours. Tell us when you close and when you need to open.
Do you move commercial kitchen equipment?
We move it once a licensed tech has disconnected gas, water and electrical. Hoods and walk-in units usually need their own specialist.
Can you take old fixtures or furniture away?
Ask when you book. It’s usually easier to clear out what isn’t coming in the same trip.
Do you provide a certificate of insurance for the landlord?
Yes. Send us the landlord’s requirements for both locations and we’ll get it to them before move day.
