White Glove Movers in Tampa
“White glove” isn’t a regulated term. Every company defines it differently, and the most common complaint people have is paying extra for it and getting an ordinary move. So here’s ours in writing: exactly what’s included, what isn’t, and how we price it.
What a white glove move with us includes
Included
- A walkthrough in person or on video, and a written inventory before you commit
- Packing every room, with dish packs, wardrobe boxes and mirror cartons
- Custom crates for framed art, large mirrors, glass and stone tabletops
- Floor runners, door jamb pads and banister wrap at both homes
- Furniture taken apart, rebuilt and placed to your floor plan
- Unpacking, with dishes, linens and clothes put away
- Beds made before we leave
- All boxes, paper and debris hauled away
- A master mover with 5+ years of experience leading the crew
Not included (we’ll tell you who to call)
- Gas line hookups for dryers or ranges
- Water lines for fridges with ice makers
- Electrical work, like new outlets or hardwired fixtures
- Cleaning the old or new home
- Smart home and security system setup
If you want something that’s not on either list, ask during the walkthrough. If we can do it, it goes into the written scope and the price. If we can’t, we’ll say so.
One price from the walkthrough, not an hourly clock
An hourly rate works against a careful move. The slower and more carefully a crew works, the more you pay. White glove jobs are priced as one fixed number from the walkthrough and inventory, so the crew can take the time each piece needs.
Most of our Tampa white glove work is in South Tampa, Davis Islands, Bayshore and the Westshore and downtown condo towers. In the towers, we coordinate the freight elevator and the building’s insurance certificate as part of the job.

Is white glove worth the extra cost?
It’s worth it when you can’t spend days packing and unpacking, when you own pieces that need crating, or when you need the new house working the same day. If you’re happy to pack and unpack yourself, our standard move with partial packing costs less.
Who actually handles the valuable pieces?
The master mover leading the crew packs and carries the high-value items, and directs the rest of the team for everything else.
Do I need to be home the whole time?
Be there when packing starts to point out anything special, and at the new house when furniture is placed. Once the plan is set, plenty of clients go to work and come back to a finished house.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to three weeks gives time for the walkthrough, crate building if you need it, and a pack day before the move.
